Christian Bale and Drew Barrymore have known each other for quite some time. They both were young Hollywood star candidates when they actually went on a date. Bale told in an interview in 2012 that they watched a horrible horror movie and Barrymore never called him again. Barrymore at one point also revealed the story, telling that even though he was cute, at that time guys were secondary in her life.
